About the event
As the year draws to a close, we invite you to join us for a very special Christmas concert Sing Nowell!, a festive evening of choral beauty and joyous reflection.
This year’s program marks a moment of transition and celebration:
Part One, led by our outgoing Musical Director Carlos del Cueto, features a vibrant selection of sacred and folk works — including Exsultate Iusti by Viadana, Beatus Vir Primo by Monteverdi, and three traditional Mexican folk songs that capture the warmth and colour of his heritage.
Part Two, under the direction of our incoming Musical Director Christopher Watson, ushers in the Christmas season with a radiant selection of carols — from Byrd’s Puer Natus Est Nobis to Holst’s beloved settings of old English carols, alongside a few well-known festive favourites for all to enjoy.
