About the event
The Tudor Choristers are delighted to begin rehearsals for our upcoming concert program, Light Eternal, with guest conductor Andrew Raiskums of Gloriana Chamber Choir. We warmly invite interested singers to join us at open rehearsals on 15th July and 22nd July.
This program explores themes of hope, illumination, and transcendence through music spanning more than eight centuries, from Hildegard von Bingen to Morten Lauridsen’s celebrated Lux Aeterna. Along the way, the program features works by Heinrich Schütz, Johannes Brahms, Josef Rheinberger, Eric Whitacre, and Jonathan Dove.
We are seeking experienced choral singers with strong ensemble skills, good intonation, and some confidence reading music. The ability to prepare music between rehearsals is highly valued.
